Biography

 
 

Ed Chinn was born in Pratt, Kansas on November 8, 1946 and was nurtured in the cradle of very traditional understandings of family, church, community, and nation. He has always been known as one who plays well with others.


He was a Political Science major at the University of Colorado. But, since 1973, Ed has been more focused on the story of God and His realm.


Ed met the beautiful and enchanting Joanne in High School. They were married on November 6, 1965 and now live in Fort Worth, Texas.


The Chinns have three fine children.


Eddie is married to Myra. They have three daughters – Ashley, Jessica, and Crystal – and live in Wylie, Texas.  Eddie’s website is www.thesportsclub.blogspot.com.


Paul married Libby Warren on 7–7–2007. They also live in Wylie, Texas. His website is www.paulchinn.com.


Amy and husband Curt McArthy live in Columbia, Tennessee with their three daughters – Abby, Emma, and Ellie – and son, Nathan.


As a writer, Ed’s work has been published in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, The Atlanta Constitution, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Focus on the Family and various other journals and websites.


He is widely published as a ghostwriter and is widely quoted in national journals (as well as in publications no one reads).


Ed is available for writing projects – speech writing, ghostwriting, editing, essays, op-ed pieces, etc. – and public speaking.
